To all mothers "HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO US" . CIK NA, IN, RUBY, FARIDAH, ANI ALANG, FARID, JA, INA, ROY, NOT salute to US. I learn something that it's not easy to be a mom. Sometimes I get frustrated, stressful, sad, happy and many more. Then I realize that is.. LIFE. There's up and down. I should bear it.. Macam tu lah juga masa mak dulukan... Kesian kat mak masa jaga kita orang ye... sorry again mak for all the troubles that I've caused during my younger days... My other half always say to the children there's no point to celebrate mother's day only on that very day... but the next day you turn to your old behaviour again... My comment pula.. hey they are just children you can't expect them to be PERFECT. ( of course behind his back ) As long as they RESPECT their parents and adults that is good enough for me. If you want to talk about studies, behaviour etc it will not end...
I'll be treating the children (oopps only two of my children at home)this afternoon. It may sounds funny cause they are the one who should be treating me instead. Nevertheless they have given me a big hug and kisses plus cards & present. That would do... May be I'll bake something for them later on. CIAO need to cook lunch.,

I AM BACK
Now I am back on track again... what am I suppose to update... Its's been a while since I last blogged. Oh ya... Kakak nina is already in her secondary school. Her school hours starts from 7.30am till 1.45pm every monday till saturday and continue her extra class from 2.30pm till 4.30pm at school. Wednesday till thursday 7.30am till 1.15pm bla bla extra class 2.30pm till 4.30pm. Oh gosh ! It's really a tough competition out there.
Juju continue his studies in form 4 at Teknik School KL and now I am left with two kids at home. My home is kind of quiet without him around cause he always starts or initiate fight with the youngest girl. He stays with my MOM and I am pretty sure he gives his 'mak tok' a headache. SORRY Mak and Ayong .... Errr NUNU you too... Don't forget be my Little SPY.. Ateh will topup your credit!!! Gee that's what I like when having nieces...
Sabrina... Oh she's the same. I mean she'll turn 10 this august but still act like a kindergarten student... she sill plays alone.. lock up herself in the room and what else... mess up her room with clothes, dresses... these days she's been playing dressing up her dolls with her dresses. And the best part was she would just chucked the dresses in the wardrobe without hanging of folding them back. I was mad at her last week that I took half of her dresses and kept them away so that she will not mess her wardrobe again. I almost went NUT when I saw her wardrobe last week. I sreamed my lung out which I think it's been a while since I last became a TARZAN. Oh dear when will she grow up. I can't wait till she's mature. OK. Enough talking about the kids...
Lets see what big MOMMA have been doing lately... A little busy with training up the maid. This is her first time working so she needs a lot of training. But one thing for sure I still cook for the family and clean up my own bedroom. As for my baking... the kids have been asking me to bake them cakes but I am reluctant cause I am scared that my weight will go up mighty high... Almaklumlah being in the 40s is really tough... my body metabolism is getting so slow that if I don't watch my diet its going to be as high as a rocket. Guess what ???.. I gained 2kgs during the last school holidays in two weeks time.. but it took me almost a month to reduce them back. (or is it more than 1 month??)
It is so hard for me to maintain weight.. I wish... I wish ...I could just eat anything and not gaining any weight. Breakfast for me.. a slice of bread, coffee and fruits. Nasi lemak??? is a no no.. Roti canai??? no way !!! I can only take those once a week... or else Momma will need a new WARDROBE !!! Sampai dah nak termuntah asyik dok makan roti... But now I sometimes alternate bread with kuih-muih tu pun beli Rm 1-00 je... Tak boleh makan banyak-banyak. Takut terbabas beb !!!
LUNCH... being a Malaysian of course I need to take rice. Once a while noodle or pasta would do... Evening... Dinner... bread and fruits again!!! Boring menu ??? What to do... must admit that I am getting older ma... Once a while I sometimes change the menu of course.. Especially hari pasar malam...
The other day when we were in KL ... I refuse to go out for dinner cause I am scared that I will not have control of my diet. Especially the Korean food and Japanese and char kweteow and chicken rice at bb and the ribs at Carlos and Tony Romas and many more at Pavillion and etc..etc.. oh too many to mention... But it is so hard to resist if your partner enjoys eating... So one night my husband asked my daughter to ask me whether or not joining them for 'KORYOWON' or just stay at home and have fruits for dinner ??? I knew he did this on purpose cause he knew I love korean bbq. Of course I don't want to miss my favavourite FOOD, I'll be @@@@ if I do... Hmmm.. he thought he could lured me into this... haha .. I am smart you know... I asked him back instead... Could we have the Korean but.... why not for LUNCH tomorrow ??? Of course he gave in.. Hurray !!! Hey MOMMA always win... The morale of the story... Don't let anyone not even your partner to lure you into something that is not worth for you to sacrifice for... but you have to be smart not to starve yourself and still enjoy the many kind of FOOD that we have in MALAYSIA.

I AM FINALLY HERE
ALHAMDULILLAH
Syukur ! Alhamdulillah.... Thank Allah. Penantian ku berakhir sudah... After six months of waiting impatiently I finally got a maid. I mean a legal maid. Actually I have been 'cornered' by the first agent which happened to be my husband's 'buddy' . To be exact his buddy's wife. We waited three months for the new maid (which I paid half the booking fee.. hmmm... there goes RM3,450) about two months before the former maid left. Finally after more than three months of fruitless waiting I decided to cancel the booking. Up till now still waiting for refund. Wallahualam...
Was really pissed off the way they (the agent) kept lying or giving excuses to me. Asyik-asyik next week new maids are coming... in the end habuk pun tak nampak. Can't they just tell the truth??? Cakap tak ada maid .. kan senang. So we could find maids from someone that can provide us.
Probably my being choosy caused the delay as the requirement that I gave the agent was to look for someone between 30 to 35 years of age. And of course I want a helper that pray... Ehh jangan main-main the former maid that I had, now lives with my mom in-law did'nt even bring her costume prayer when she came to my house. I only realised about her not praying after a week. And the funny thing is that whenever she is busy she'll say she will combine the prayer together. Sembahyang jamak lah tu... Himpun dua solat dalam satu waktu. Mazhab apa le pulak ni... Jenuh nak kena jaga solat dia and the best thing is that whenever I ask Sabrina my youngest daughter whether or not she perform her prayer. Guess what ??? I have to ask 'wanti' too. Tambah anak sorang lagi nampaknya... Oh Dear..
My friend Ruby even suggested that I fly to Indonesia to find maid at their respective agency. Lagi gempak... Desperate sungguh nampak mak nani !!! Kesian kat kawan dia gamaknya. Well Ruby too had the same experience with me last year. She was also 'maidless' for a couple of months. Especially with her asthmatic daughter and more over her husband being a pilot needs to fly here and there for days or even weeks. But Ruby was even more unfortunate than me cause her being 'over kind' made her maids ran away a few times. Baik sangat kawan yang satu ni maid pun ada handphone! As for me... maid is a great helper that my family should respect as she help us with the chores but she also has to respect me as her employer. None of my children are allowed to shout or demand things from the maid cause she is my employee not theirs... and the kids must always say the word 'please' to the maid whenever they ask her to do something. ( of course my youngest sabrina, always forget to say the magic word ) It is not easy to instill good values to the kids... Anyway I had my don'ts too... 'NO HANDPHONE'... They can communicate by writing!!!! Of course occasionally I mean during Hari Raya they can call their family back home. It is not that I am being overly strict ...I am just taking the precaution.. Almaklumlah I don't want them to take advantage.
Finally through my former maid, bik timah who stayed with me for six years managed to find me a new maid after two months of waiting again. Thanks so much bibik. Officially.. March 1st 2009 'SU' came in the rescue. The end of my SAD AND TORTURING LIFE STORY...
Actually as for me life with and without maid have their own advantages and disadvantages... Some might say there's no PRIVACY when a maid lives with you... Hey I would be glad if I can have a daily maid that helps around in the morning and goes home in the evening... but there is none I mean a 'legal maid' in my neighbourhood. There's no local woman who wants to be a maid thus we have no choice but to employ foreigner. It is easier said then done I mean to keep the house clean and juggle with the children daily routine I mean sending them to school etc.. Actually I can say that I am a fulltime 'SUPIR'. Am I trying to justify my self for having a maid?? Hmmm it is a BONUS actually. Haha !It simplify everything. Baru boleh gelak and happy sikit... if not tension memanjang...

CELEBRATING RAMADHAN AL MUBARAQ
Ramadhan comes again... Here we are being given a chance to grab as much opportunity as we could...I mean in terms of PAHALA... Up till today I did'nt perform my solat terawih at surau yet.. (rugi sungguh) Only manage to do it at home alone by myself... still sending the children for their tuition at night... It's not that I like to send them for tuition...(really tiring) but they really need to go as they need extra help in their studies. If they are brilliant... hmmmm... end of the story. I had a neighbour who never send her children for tuition...thus she never have to worry about looking for good teachers,sending d children etc..(tak pe lahh anak sulung dia tengah buat housemanship, the 2nd pulak ambil spm tahun ni) Alhamdulillah..
Anyway tomorrow, insyaallah I'll be able to perform terawih jemaah ! Sek Keb Tg Malim is organizing solat hajat and terawih for the Primary 6 students for their oncoming UPSR exam. The exam will starts on the 9th of september. Next... Juju's PMR pulak.. Adoiiii!!! Yang ni mak yang tension... He is still COOL...

MY DAYS WITHOUT A MAID
IT's been a while since my last entry... The reason for my absent is I'm without a maid!!! I don't have much time to spare ONLINE... Just wait till I get a replacement (I have a feeling it's going to be until after Hari Raya) I'll be on track again...

Anyway last tuesday, Kakak NURINA celebrated her 12th birthday at school... Baked carrot cake , fried nuggets and steamed hot dogs for the whole class... tu sajalah yang mak dapat prepare without bik wanti... gambar pun x sempat nak ambil.. kesian kakak!!!
Don't ask me how I'm feeling.... TIRED... Especially with the children's busy schedule.. send them for tuition, music class, mengaji quran etc.. OH NO !!! Oh ya... plus the rainy season... the laundry !!!

Sabrina's 9th birthday party
Been quite a while since my last post. A little busy as my husband travel to KL quite often for the past two weeks. So I have to be both the kids papa & mama. Sampai tak sempat nak online pun!!! Plus busy preparing for the little one's birthday....So finally last weekend Sabrina had her 9th birthday party. Her birthday party was a little over two weeks coz kakak had chicken pox. Kakak is getting better now.. but some of the scars on her face still remains. Dah tak boleh joint miss world nampak gayanya!!! Guess what Sabrina had for her birthday cake??? As she wanted ...her 2 tier birthday cake or what I told her ( sabrina's wedding cake). It was fun for the children but tiring for mom... The best part was... The young guests arrived one hour ealier than invited !!! Who else do you think responsible for this?? 'Sabrina' invited her friends early so that she could play with them. Imagine my nerves !!! As if she could'nt play with them afterwards .With the noise and the last minute cooking, I have to shoo the children out of the house so that I can get it over and done with...
Oh ya.. Kakak also invited her buddies along. And best of all.. when I asked the teenagers who is good at cooking. A few raised their hands... finallly aunty nani said "ha! ni semua calon menantu aunty" Imagined their screamed !!! Next day at school, according to kakak .. it' been a joke among them. GLOOMY WEEKEND
It's been raining since morning... What a day ! Yesterday, baked peach butter cake with butter cream topping. Tried to decorate cartoon character on it ... but 'bratz' turned out to be like a monster... haha !!! hmmm I just wonder how zati 'd' hati did hers. I followed her steps but the chocolate lining broke into pieces... Dare not attach d picture in here... Takut orang gelak tengok ! Finally kakak had her chicken pox last Wednesday, and her face was covered up by the rashes... It's worst than her younger sister. Pity that she has to stay at home while her friends are busy with their revision at school. Pray that she'll get better soon and go to school again.
